5.10.11 - FOX CANCELS LIE TO ME
Lie to Me*, January 21, 2009 January 31, 2011 / 48 episodes
(3 seasons but equivalent of 2)

SO NOW WHAT??
Desperate times call for desperate measures, that's what!

Mail-in campaign suggestions from awesome LTM fans (see Fox exec addresses below)

@regattedeblanc: Send in beans (symbolic of Lightman's love of beans on toast). A suggestion is to buy the dried, bag variety of beans, that way you get more bean for your buck. You can put handfuls into zippy bags and make multiple mailings to all the Fox execs. Throw in a piece of stale toast, too, if you feel like it. Jericho fans sent in tons (literally!) of peanuts to CBS to help save their show, and it worked for them!

@xbleeple: Send in non-perishable chocolate pudding cups (symbolic of Foster's sweet tooth - Pilot ep) to all the Fox execs. Generic brands are generally inexpensive, and shipping weight shouldn't be too costly either.

Write-in / email campaigns

Keep contacting the Fox executives and make your feelings known to them. It's a long shot but worth trying. What do we have to lose at this point.

Oh my God I actually sent some emails out :). I know pretty stupid huh but you have to know I really never get involved in stuff and this is the first time I've cared about a show.

I would HIGHLY suggest trying TNT or USA. Lie to Me would fit so much better on those networks, and with the audience it gets, it'd be fine there for several years.

Sent
Emails sent to everyone and I quoted a recent advert that ran in Britain promoting American Drama.

"Stories, we all spend our lives telling them.
About this, about that, about people.
But some, some stories are so good we wish they'd never end.
They're so gripping, that we'll go without sleep just to see a little bit more.
Some stories bring us laughter, and sometimes they bring us tears.
But isn't that what a great story does… make you feel.
Stories that are so powerful, they really are with us forever."

Dustin Hoffman

I really couldn't have worded it better myself.

truth hurts
ok, I don´t know if you guys watched the same season 3 I´ve watched, but really, it kinda sucks.
The writers seems to be re-writing the same episode with differents characters and stuff, i think that what Lie To Me really needs it´s a solid storyline, something that gives continuity to the show, i don´t konow mmm
maybe the eli and ria thing (it was a one episode thing and then they just dropped it) or start something with cal an gillian, a consistent enemy for cal like rader maybe...
Anyway, keep what youre doing and i thank you for it, i want a season 4 even if that means the same episodes with different audio :P

that´s all, and excuse my english, it kinda sucks too :P

You know... I thought of something. We could all chip in for like a 100-200kg bag of dried beans or something rather than the numerous little packets we're sending. Someone in the US makes the order and the courier delivers it HEHEHEHHEHE.
